So- this one.
It was mid-year some time and I was on the bus listening to the morning show on RDU (the world's best local radio station) and this Poet was being interviewed about her upcoming tour and book. toward the end of the interview she recited one of her Poems which was called "fisher of man". It was affecting! Very femme fatale- and so, I had to write something in response- which I did.

Of this baited hook, too good to be true
Oh that great spider, with her eyes on you,
Too good to be true, she seeks to ensnare you.

Oh the fisher of man, She is the fisher of man.

In the depths of the ocean, like the darkest of night,
You see that glow so alluring, drawn to that Hypnotic light.
And so you approach it, although you know you should wait,
Drift until the last minute, when you can see her teeth and you know it's too late...

Flee from the passion of youth,
tear down the fantasy

and never would satisfy

Even though you might run, you know she won't chase you.
And even though you might hide, you know she won't trace you.
Because you're curious. Because you want to see.
One lapse in judgement and you end up where you don't want to be.
