So I have this friend and we were sitting there one day- a few of us and he realised in a lucid, honest moment that he was depressed. It was just really cool. We rallied around and offered our support and things but also acknowledged the difficulty of what was to come and reinforced our ongoing support. I came away thinking about it all and wrote this.
