This track is about the futility of the phone. It's about our addiction to those little pings of satisfaction that voice the momentary approval of others; those little blips that hook us to social media.

It was something I noticed in myself- particularly looking back on my down moments. I wanted to shine a light on it and see it for what it was.

Also- I know that you can hear my kids playing at the start of this but I wanted to leave it as I think it adds to that sense of separation and disengagement that comes where the 'like' of an acquainted third party becomes more important than the immediate interaction with a loved one.
